Let’s Pray
This week I pray for each of you who are struggling. I pray for those of you who need guidance, understanding and hope. I pray for each of you who need healing that our awesome physician grants you favor. Help us overcome our anxieties as we grow stronger in faith. Through Christ, we find all that we need because He alone is our rock, our Father and our provider.
I pray that through these hard times you call his name and hold fast to his inspired word. Lord you are such an amazing God. As difficult as things may seem – I pray we find peace and rest through you. God, life sure gets tough, but during good times and bad, I pray we are singing your praises.
Thank you for being such an awesome Father and adopting us as your children. Thank you for the death of your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for saving us and paying a debt you did not owe. Lord, thank you for your unconditional love. Water the seed of our souls so that your kingdom comes on earth as it in heaven.
You say that if we ask, we shall receive and if we have faith the size of a mustard seed then we could move mountains. Lord I pray right now for those who seek healing, I pray for those who need hope, faith, understanding and an obedient heart. You are our rock and nothing compares to your faithfulness. Lord, instill in me great faith, obedience and may your way prevail in each of us. May we show our love to you daily and glorify your name. God, we thank you in advance for answering our prayers and filling our needs. In the name of your precious son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

As Thanksgiving approaches we should reflect on all the different ways we are thankful to God for all that he does. Throughout the year, we tend to overlook and forget these ‘little’ gifts. As the holiday draws near, give thanks to the one and only Triune God that deserves all the glory for the blessings in your life and for all your hardships because he is reaching out to you. Don’t wait so long to lift your hands with praise and thanksgiving throughout the year. Could you imagine only talking to your Father once a year? When we neglect Christ this is exactly what we are doing; talking to our Father – once a year.
Being thankful:
We are thankful for our health and the health of our family. We are thankful for a fully functional body and the ability to conceive. We are thankful that Mother’s are able to stay home with their children and for those women without that luxury, be thankful that you received the blessing of motherhood because so many infertile women would give anything to hear a child call them ‘mama’. He (God) always provides and stretches the dollar. In today’s economy, we should be thankful that we have a roof over our head, food in our mouth, clothes on our back and a steady job creating the ability to provide for our families.
As for me:
I am thankful to God giving me such an amazing man of God (my husband) to spend my life with. I am thankful for God, being able to praise and worship him freely. I am thankful that I am able to attend church and have fellowship with other believers. I am thankful for my two sweet boys and pray that I am able to have a healthy third baby. I am thankful for the opportunity to try and the blessings I already have received. I am thankful for being able to spend my holiday with my family and thankful that I received the time off. I am thankful for the love of our Lord, His grace, mercy and forgiveness of my sins due to my unfaithfulness, and yet, He is forever faithful and loving. Thank you God for being so amazing, bless your Holy Name. Amen.
We cannot possible list all the little things we take for granted each and every day. We are blessed with so many of God’s gifts and supernatural talents. Remember to give thanks to the Lord for His love endured forever.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Psalms 100:4-5, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
